Before you set off

Suggested area

Wirral. See the map below for the suggested area to gather before you play.

Be comfortable

Adventure is much more fun when your feet aren’t staging a protest. Wear comfy shoes, dress for the weather and check the forecast before you head out.

If it’s warm, take some water. If rain looks likely, bring something waterproof. Come prepared for exploring, wandering and the occasional unexpected detour.

Bring your phone

Your phone is your guide, puzzle master and key to adventure. Make sure it’s fully charged before you set off. A power bank is a good idea for longer adventures, and keep an eye on your battery as you go.

You’ll play in the PuzzleDuck app. Have a connection available to open the hunt and sync your progress.

Look up, watch where you’re walking and stay aware of roads, other people and everything happening around you.

Accessibility

Contact us before buying if you need route-specific accessibility information.

We want as many people as possible to enjoy a PuzzleDuck adventure. Real towns and cities can change: roadworks, events, closed ramps or lifts and other temporary obstacles may affect access.

If you encounter a barrier, use a safe, suitable alternative where possible and contact us if you need help. If you have particular accessibility needs, get in touch before buying so we can help you choose a hunt. Please also tell us about anything we could improve.
